Competitive Stream
Elite competitive Allstar cheerleading teamsOur Competitive Stream is for those athletes who want to take their cheerleading to the next level; and who would like to participate in local competitions, as well as the AASCF National Championships. Nationals will be held at the end of November 2022 on the Gold Coast, QLD. Competitive athletes must attend a Team Placement Day and be selected for a team at the start of the year (no experience is necessary to tryout). They must then commit to the full year of training with the team on which they are placed and will train twice per week (specific number of hours determined by team level). Competitive athletes, in addition to their team trainings, MUST attend a minimum of two tumble classes per week, suitable to their skill level (Exception: Open Non-Tumble teams). Flyers must also attend one Flight School class per week in 2022. Where timetabling permits, we will schedule suitable tumbling classes on the same afternoons/evenings as team trainings, to minimise the number of different days that our Competitive Stream athletes must train (ideally two afternoons/evenings only).
