Semi-Competitive Stream
Entry-level competitive Allstar cheerleading teamsThis is the stream for athletes who would like to be in a committed team and compete throughout the competition season, but who do not wish to commit to interstate travel for competitions. This stream suits those who are new to cheer and have no prior experience; as well as those who have some prior experience but wish to participate in a lower-commitment team. Please note that all Semi-Competitive teams will compete in the Novice Level 1 division. Athletes in the Semi-Competitive Stream must attend our Team Placement Day and be placed into a team at the start of the season (ALL athletes who attend will make a team!) - however in some cases, we may be able to place an athlete into a Semi-Competitive team mid-year. Semi-Competitive athletes must then commit to the full year of training with the team on which they are placed, and usually train once per week with this team. Semi-Competitive athletes, in addition to their team trainings, MUST attend a minimum of one tumble class per week, suitable to their skill level. Additional tumble classes are optional, and recommended for those wishing to be placed into a Competitive team in the following season.
