Recreational Stream
A low-cost, low-commitment way to be involved in the sport of cheerleading.CheerSPORT has been designed by CheerBrandz as a way of providing recreational and enjoyable cheerleading tuition following a graded curriculum that doesn't bring with it a big time or financial commitment. Our Recreational classes at Skybound are based on the CheerSPORT model, which allows us to offer a fun entry-level cheerleading stream to service new athletes to the sport, or those who would simply like to enjoy cheerleading in a more casual and laid-back way than being committed to a Competitive team. Classes are grouped by age and CheerSPORT grade, and individual athletes or whole classes may move up to the next CheerSPORT grade once they have mastered the requisite skills of their current grade.
All Recreational classes at Skybound will incorporate fun, music, games, and exercises to teach stunting, dance, and basic tumble shapes. Athletes who would like to further develop their tumbling skills simply enrol into an additional tumble class, suitable to their level (optional). Athletes learn a routine with their team which will develop throughout the year as the girls acquire new skills. Athletes in our Recreational Stream perform their routine to share what they have learned at our Mid- and End-of-Year Show-Offs.
